Hi, I’m Dr. Amanda Jones.
“Over the past eight years, I have worked across a variety of clinical settings serving individuals navigating complex mental health concerns, trauma, and systemic barriers. My professional experiences have included community mental health agencies, correctional settings, rehabilitation-focused work, private practice, and higher education.”
"Much of my clinical approach focuses on helping individuals learn how to live meaningful and fulfilling lives despite difficult circumstances, trauma, disability, or adversity. I believe counseling should empower people to recognize their resilience, rediscover their strengths, and build lives grounded in purpose, healing, and hope. Whether I am working with clients, mentoring students, or conducting research, my goal is always the same: to create spaces where people feel supported, empowered, and capable of healing while navigating the realities of their lived experiences."

"Your strengths are often easier for others to see than for you to recognize. Counseling helps bring them back into focus."
