Hi, I’m Amy Mann.
William “Amy” Mann, 28, Trans-American woman, seeking to assist others in their navigation of the modern American landscape through the practice of psychotherapy, seeking to accomplish this goal through application of a CBT/EFT orientation. Coming from a previous position in a facility treating those with HIV/AIDs, providing psychotherapy for those from minority, intersectional backgrounds with terminal conditions, addictions, and trauma.
"Each client deserves a therapist who is confident in their ability to provide support and care, but who can also admit their mistakes, their habits, and who can responsibly accept and address suggestions and confrontation."
"I offer genuine, empathetic care, while maintaining a grounded perspective. Helping individuals identify the components of their current circumstances, including the emotional experience, so that as a team we may identify how these parts interact and what may need to be done. Determining together how you may accomplish what needs to be done."
"I invite my clients to set the tone and pace that best facilitates the outcomes they are seeking from treatment."
“I take no offense to the notion of being just a tool for my clients to use in their own self-exploration and self-development”
